As Seen on Fox 11: It's National Burrito Day!

This is possibly the most important “national days” that you need to know about! National burrito day! Guess who knows a thing or two about that – Chef Colin Smith.

Some hints on making a great burrito:

  • Use a really good tortilla.
  • Heat the tortilla, as it will soften. We like to warm the tortillas up on the grill.
  • The ingredients you use make the best burrito. We use fresh black beans, spanish rice, pico de gallo and queso fresco.
  • You can, for instance, use a hangar steak marinated in a cumin cilantro vinaigrette, and finely dice up the meat. It gives your burrito ingredients a little “oomph” to elevate the quality and taste.
