As Seen on Fox 11: Berry Jam Scones

Camille Malmquist, pastry chef at Roundabout Grill, shows us how to make a simple recipe for Berry Jam Scones. You can make the dough ahead of time and keep it in the refrigerator or freezer.

This is a biscuit type dough, where you start with a little bit of grated cold butter, flour, baking powder and a bit of sugar. Mix the grated cold butter with flour, add some buttermilk, and use any of your favorite jam. Camille’s jam has raspberries, blueberries and strawberries. Portion out the dough and shape it. Add a little flour on your fingers to add the indents into the dough. Sprinkle the top with sugar for a bit of sparkle.

Then bake for 15 minutes at 375 degrees.
